The research presentation further supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education, particularly through the promotion of learning opportunities that develop research competencies, critical inquiry, and knowledge application among students.

It likewise contributes to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, as dental and health sciences research contributes to the continuing pursuit of knowledge that may inform the community about approaches to oral health and patient care.

The College of Dentistry’s participation in an international scientific gathering such as the FDI World Dental Congress demonstrates the value of research engagement in developing future dental professionals. It also underscores the role of academic institutions in creating opportunities for students to contribute to scientific discourse beyond the university and the local community.

Through initiatives that encourage research, scholarly presentation, and international academic engagement, Cebu Doctors’ University College of Dentistry continues to cultivate a learning environment that values scientific inquiry, professional development, and service to the broader community.
