MANDAUE CITY, CEBU — September 12, 2026 — Cebu Doctors’ University, through its National Service Training Program – Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS), conducted the Rescue 177 Emergency Preparedness Training for its freshmen students. The activity aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills in emergency preparedness, safety, disaster response, and basic life-saving techniques, preparing them to respond effectively during emergencies and contribute to the safety and welfare of their communities.
The training featured a series of hands-on activities, including bandaging, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), rescue drills, and other emergency response exercises.
